It was very exciting to be awarded Overall Winner at Mackay Art on Show for ‘a flurry of moths’. Rona Green was the judge. The work is my response to those little creatures with which we co-habit . It is a collagraph with dry point and chine colle on Fabriano paper.

‘My mother’s friend’ was Pat Noonan. They knew each other their whole lives until Pat died last year aged 89. This was my winning entry into the inaugural Paxtons Portrait Prize.
